I don't know. If I'm wondering if a beast of Nurgle has a dragon head, well, we're in trouble. Nurgle should never look that vicious. Well, maybe Nurglings should--but that's it!

I think I'll finally buy some Bloodletters.

With HMBC on the Beast of Nurgle, though. I've seen prettier things in public toilets.

Yeah I still love the FW GUO kind of look for nurgly things. This new beast looks more of a creature I would find slumming it up in some corner of my D&D dungeon deep in a swamp, rather than in the Warhammer setting. Not sure why I feel that way at the moment though.

Note: D+ can take over 12 hours of driving in Canada. It's no small task here.

the bloodletters look awesome - definitely Blanch'esque.
i'm not a chaos player but i will get me some of those. probably get some metal demonettes before they disappear - i always like those sculpts and this could be the last chance i get.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

The Bloodletters look pretty good - I don't think they're amazing or anything, but pretty good. Definitely a different tack than we've seen with them before. They look more Slaaneshi than they have before.

The Daemonettes definitely aren't as good as the last ones, but still better than the old lobster-claw ones from 2nd Ed.

And the comparison between the BoN and the beast from Monty Python and the Holy Grail is about perfect! When did Terry Gilliam start doing design for GW?

Nah, that's a Beast of Nurgle for the daemon army, if you saw that thing on table in a CSM force i'd assume it was a lesser daemon.

Any thoughts on how big it is?

i severley dig the new bloodletters, the are so demonic and scary they actually look odd ranked up. closer to the ancient "snake"letters than the beefcakes from the last few eds.

Hm. Good point. I had forgotten about the "snake"letters. You're right - they do owe a certain amount of design ancestry to those bad boys.

the deamonettes look like a cross between the old and the current version, they have the old style claws but new style body.
and in response to the nurgle thing, i remember reading in the old realms of chaos books that beast of nurgle were like puppies in the fact that they would run up and jump on people and lick them and stuff until they stopped moving, always thought it was kinda funny. I think nurgle is supposed to be this more morbid humor though.
