That's another one. Motorcycle helmets and Star Wars storm trooper helmets, naturally have to be bigger than heads but once you do taht the whole figure looks out of proportion. So GW makes full helmet heads and bare heads the same size, the key thing being they look 'right' from a distance until you think about them.

It's not a mistake, it's a deliberate choice.

Yeah I know what you mean, KK. I've been told this before. It doesn't stop me from laughing at it though. My big problem will be reconciling this with my Bret peasants. The knights all have helmets and the ladies have hats or big hair. The men-at-arms at least have helmets to make their heads not appear to be so big, but the archers are hilarious parodies of bobbleheads. It's like GW deliberately went out of their way to make the heads as large as possible. Here's hoping some WE player has a bunch of smaller hooded heads.

I was not involved with GW at the time, do you have any links or such that show this?

Unfortunately the Pics of the Games Day slide show with this out line was on Portent and to my knowledge would therefore be unavailable unless someone happens to have these saved on his/her hard drive?

Uh... what? Didn't the Necron codex come out after LotR? How could they be "slatted" for an early update if they hadn't gotten their first codex yet?

If even half of the stuff in this quote was true, I would buy all the GW shares I could afford.

Seeing as it aint, I aint.

Cannot wait for 'The Battle of The Five Armies' WD special. A 2 part release that goes into all of the wonderful things that make LOTR sooooo special.
I am anticipating a 30-40 page special........................

Oh, not to forget the NEW CLEAR Bilbo fig-WOW!

Yes, and it was the first of many brain farts made by GW for 40K. Undead Space Marines with Not-Greater-Daemons.

Only now do I realize how much I prefer Pete Haines' "misprints" to Gav Thorpe's "brainfarts." :Abadabadoobaddon
