Calling in sick two days in a row is helping. Praetorians
and Ancestral Guardian are nearly there.

About half way through April and I'm almost on target.

Deff Choppas finished, based, awaiting low pollen count afternoon to get primer
Warboss really just in need of bike-mounted dakkagun(s) and some form of attack squig. I'm thinking cyber squig.
Lootas. Assembling lootas is still an uphill battle, 37 miles of mold lines per. But lately some nifty conversions have helped spice that up.

Assuming I can find some time to hammer out lootas before final exams, I'll be on point for April vows!

well, I didn't notice this thread until this afternoon

But My goal for April was the following
10 Saurus Warriors
10 Skinks
1 Skink Priest
1 Saurus Hero
1 Slann
6 Kroxigor
1 Screaming Bell

Currently I've completed the following:
1 Screaming Bell
1 Skink Priest
1 Slann
3 Kroxigor
4 Saurus Warriors

Everything else is base coated and awaiting my attentions. I'm not too happy with the Screaming Bell, I may strip it and repaint it.. but I haven't made my mind up yet. I REALLY don't want to redo all that work, but I can't look at it without thinking "I could have done better"

helped a lot!). I should have pictures next week (it's raining
in Chicagoland).

Skorne are done! I'm up to 22 figs for the month and 92 for the year. I'm averaging about 23 figs/month so far.

Next up: 8 Highshields and Herne & Jonne. I think I can at least get 'em assembled and primed, but I'd love to get at least H&J done (getting me up to 25 figs this month). We'll see.

Arquebus Jonne was missing his Arquebus! GRRR!

Highshields are 3/4 assembled (left off the shield arms and shields. Those go on tonight). Hope to have THEM done by the end of the month.

I've been completely consumed by final exams, so despite the purchase of shiny new x-acto blades for the particular purpose of loota cleaning, I fear that unit will be the incomplete in my vow... 4 short of victory, but something about higher education taking priority, yadda yadda yadda

May means my pool opens, so those vows might have to be cut back significantly

gah! I barely got anything done. I'm stressed out from my job search that I cannot concentrate on my relaxing hobby.

but I have two grav tanks, two Vypers and six weapon platforms that are just about done.

that, and I ran out of enchanted blue and I want to try the foundation orange for spirit stones.

Just in time for the tourney this weekend. I went with a slightly different list so ended up not needing the models that were't done.

Wow, April was a wash for me. I hardly got any painting done. I blame the VGA planets game that a coworker started up (Evil Empire FTW!)

Uhh...I finished Skarre. And, uh, touched up and washed 4 Deathguard models. Finished the base coats on the 3 Cryx warjacks (will be applying washes tonight), and painted the bones of the Soulhunters.

That's it. :(

All in all one of my better months.

Build and convert my Terminus model

Finish building and priming Magnus the Traitor

Finish building and priming a Talon

Finish building and priming a Renegade

Finish converting my second Pistol Wraith

So, completely different set of goals met, but at least I did something.
