They are amazing, Although I would find it difficult to actually play with or against them. Those beautiful colours would just get too damn distracting!

But its a great way to make these models stick out from the "Needs more Skulls" Crowd that dominates Chaos. This is the way Tzeentch is meant to be, and you have it to a tee. Keep up the great work!

Undead Titan Log
Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

I'm trying to work out what looks like an aquamarine in the second batch especially.

Also if GW is removing tentacle pink, how are we meant to paint pink horrors?

Thanks again for the nice compliments everyone.

I was getting the horrors done at a rate of about 4 figs in 2 hours (I work in batches of 4 as it is easier to keep the right paints open and any more than that the mixes dry out too fast) so about 30 minutes per model. Add on another hour or so to base the entire lot. The Flamers took a little longer as they are a bit bigger with sooo many more teeth and flames.

Paint recipe:

"Pink" is a 4 stage: Liche Purple, Liche Purple/Warlock Purple (50/50), Warlock Purple, Warlock Purple/Skull White (60/40). After it dries I apply a coat of Wonder Wash Purple.

Blue is a 3 stage: Enchanted Blue, Enchanted/Ice Blue (50/50), Ice Blue. When dry washed with Wonder Wash Blue.

Green is a 3 stage: Snot Green, Snot/Scorpion Green (50/50), Scorpion Green. Washed with Wonder Wash Dark Green.

Aquamarine/Teal is a 4 stage: Scaly Green, Scaly Green/Hawk Turquoise (50/50), Hawk Turquoise, Hawk Turquoise/Skull White (60/40). Washed with Wonder Wash Blue.

The teeth are simply picked out w/Bone, horns are 4 layers from Scortched Brown to Bleached Bone/White, flames are 3 layers from Scab Red to Firey Orange with a Wonder Wash Red.

Bases are simply sand, painted Scortched Brown, dry brush Troll Flesh (Reaper), drybrush Khaki, Drybrush Khaki/Skull White (50/50), add static grass and paint base Black.

I am still working on a re-sculpt of the Lord of Change, that will be next on the paint table. After that I think Nurgle will be a nice change of pace from the bright colors of Tzeentch.

Wow, so simple but so striking. And 30 minutes per each one?!? I'm lucky if I can paint a skeleton in 30 minutes.
