For May
1 Winged Hive Tyrant
1 Broodlord
38 Genestealers
2 Carnifexes

Want to attend a 1500 point tournament on the 31st with a brand new fully painted army.

Epic fail. I built all the above over the month, plus 10 spinegaunts and a zoanthorpe. But that took much more time then I expected, plus had less free time then I expected as well. Guess I'll be 'that guy' with an unpainted army, cuase I need the practice with this army painted or not :(

Iorek: "Snoogums, you're right. Your arguments are irrelevant, and they sure as heck aren't going away."

FAIL. Not my fault, I'm STILL waiting for the parts a month after ordering them. Apparently they *should* be here tomorrow. Without the brown stuff I ordered, apparently they don't make it any more...:( back to GS it is. Ugh.

Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one and they all stink.

Not to bad this month. The vows are actually a pretty good thing for me. They really help me get stuff done.

*Do Madhammer's 3 last 'jacks (1 driller, 1 blaster, 1 gunner)
*Khador Behemoth
*Start work on MOW army (at least do one unit of 4 each of MOWST and MOWDC).

That's all I've got so far. I'd like to start working on my Kroot and Skink Venusians, but since I'm not really playing pulp games right now (and have PILES of pulp minis painted up) I can hold off for the moment.

EDIT: Driller, blaster and gunner are done. Herne & Jonne are done. I also painted up a Reaper swashbuckler that's been sitting on my desk for ages, and 5 Copplestone-sculpted EM-4/Grenadier 'not-terminator' robots. I've got the Behemoth ready to go, along with 6 artizan cowboys. Replaced my drill bit so hoping to start on the MOW soon too.

Well, I started the Behemoth and got 3 of the 4 MOWST done (4th one needed stripping, which slowed things down). I also did 6 cowboys, which weren't on the list, but nevertheless.

Next month: finish MOWST, Behemoth, and MOWDC, plus do 6 Kislevites (which are becoming Kossite woodsmen) and 6 Artizan Foreign Legionnaires.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil

Well, about halfway through May I was informed by my girlfriend in no uncertain terms that house painting takes precedence over toy soldier painting. So I didn't get as much done as I would have liked. House looks good, though.

So I'll be assembling some saurus and skinks.
Hopefully:
5 Saurus
10 Skinks

Will depend if I run out of bases or models.

June will be spent painting them....

None of the above...

Instead I started on mtd saurus and will be finishing assembling 5 tonight.

Plan to have 3-5 painted buy end of month...

Didn't get to do crap in May. Did start building the Warhammer Chapel, so at least I did something.

The Power Cosmic wrote:My plans for working on my table have gone completely out the window. However, I have gotten back into my pile o' metal. So...

  • Paint my Magnus the Traitor

  • Paint Magnus' Talon

  • Paint Magnus' Renegade

  • Finish detailing and paint Magnus' Mangler

  • That should do.

Let's see, "finished" the Renegade (not based) and almost the Talon. I got distracted by the Withershadow Combine coming out. I've built them, they just need some detailing. Not a bad month. Let's see what's next...
