I tried to picture the view of a C'Tan on us with the sheep (nonaggressive animals,runs in hordes,easy to feed,...).
Maybe harvest and sheep doesn't fit together?
With so many here on dakka believing in the C'tan to rule,I should take more care about my necrons.

Sheep are gods in my country (Wales) there is 5 sheep for every person. Maybe the Necron will make good sheep farmers.

Until point 2 your right,but DoW? Its fun,as emperor you have the special edition=> DoW:great crusade MkII

Oh no, don't get me wrong I love DoW as much as the next guy, (or at least I could if Soul Storm would work, I'm stuck playing Dark Crusade) its just playing for all eternity send you mad after a while. Especially playing against high and mighty Custodes and Ad mech worshipers who hack the game and cheat

Maybe the malfunction of the throne occured when the AdMech tried to install the latest version of DoW?
They screwed the software and now the emperor is so when he cannot play DoW/crusadeMKII"burn the heretic" ?
Now the emperor is too busy reinstalling the whole software,so many features (like the astronomican) are currently not
fully available.

He doesn't know about problems in the imperium because he wins everytime at DoW "emperor's edition" ?
The only able repairtechmagos to his throne has cheated and got killed.Now the AdMech has no replacement ready?

Well, thats one way too look at it, solves lots of rumours and problems in the 40k universe. Why isn't the Emp around:playing dawn of war. Why aren't 2 of the C'tan about?-playing Dawn of war.

I just like the idea that this is the future of our world and with all the stuff GW does now, the Emp still ddin't see the Horus heresy coming. Some people never learn
