I love it, and it totally makes sense for the marines to have mark 6 "beaky" helmets. These guys and the raptors it totally suits the feeling of the chapter. I think that helmet looks silly on space marines like space wolves.

Hey guys, wanted to say Thank You for all the comments on the army.

I've recently added a Whole Army Pic to the article, and will have to update it again to reflect the Librarian Dreadnought and the other changes that have happened since the Blood Angels codex was released.

There's more miniatures being worked on right now as well, including a Terminator Librarian, a Vanguard Vet squad, another Furioso Dread, and a Chapter Master and his Aviary Guard.

Where do you get the helmet for the first librarian?

Alright forgive me if I don't follow forum etiquette. I just registered so I could get on here and spew my admiration for your artwork.

I am just starting to get into 40k myself and picked up some marines. I was going to paint them a dark blue motif until I saw your librarian. I have actually tried several times to replicate that blue look but I keep ending up with it too dark or looking to much like a generic ultramarine. Pray tell, what is your secret?
