it might be good for tank jousting or pushing a rider off his bike, but thats about it.

yours looks like it can actually work and function, an earth shaker cannon should be aimed at an upwards angle, rather than looking like its about to shoot your own units or the floor.

i tend to dislike painting tanks, but when the warhound project starts i guess i have no choice lol.
just hate large areas of flat colour, even after several washes / drybrushes / highlights it still looks to plain.

also, on a side note, this may look stupid, but it could be amusing, whats the scale of the earthshaker cannon compared to the baneblade?

could make a quad mounted one like the old flak tanks lol.

not sure what you mean about the scale -except that the bladeblade is alot bigger, its guns bigger, and its gun has a better BOOM! size. (template)

have them 1 ontop og another, in 2 rows, so you have more of a square shape, just thinking weather or not the size will work.

i was thinking of using the hydra style mounts, but replaced with earthshakers on a baneblade lol, a little OTT, but thats not allways a bad thing

i get mine from ebay, cheap and comes in airly large ammounts, mostly around £5 / $10 for around 6 A4 sheets. (varying thickness)

the hydra idea wont be cheap lol, £60 for the baneblade, and i can get the earthshakers for £15 a piece, so thats £120 / $240 for a titan hunter XD

whoa! thats alot, surely you can find a cheap old baneblade on e-bay for less?? and also on ebay you can probably buy individual basaliks for less than £15/$30?? but im sure it will turn out good! are you going to keep the old sponsons and front twin linked heavy bolters + the demolisher??

need a new kit lol, need to be able to cut and change parts, and chances of finding a new one on ebay cheap isnt good.
also, i just order basalisk cannons direct, so i get the parts i need

demolisher cannon will do, but sponsons will stay.

where did you order the earthshakers from direct??

not sure exactly, allthough i think you can include like one squad of grey night troops of 10 men or less, not entirely sure though :(

i just like the GK termies, would look nice and work with 2 units of 5 normal assult termies (1 with LC's, 1 with H's and SS's)

A wee bit naughty, but I've found a steady source of plasticard from raiding public signs. Part of my job involves working near a cargo bay and there is a glut of ''No Smoking'' signs tacked onto breezeblock walls with crap glue. Pop, off they come. Also see Estate agent signs. I try and combine the burglary of the latter with drunken, late night walks home.

Obviously I wouldn't advise nicking Fire Exit pointers but the more redundant and mundane ones form a steady diet for my modelling.

ranging from barret homes to leeders to anything that may be of some use.

The pile of anti smoking propaganda on my desk makes my room resemble a slightly demented bedsit, a la Se7en, but with more ashtrays and less murders!

matt, qick tip mate, if using plasticard stick to 1.5mm - 2mm at the most, got the wrong stuff today, and 3mm is a right %&*$! to cut, gott use a hacksaw, and it looks messy even after cleaning it up, so waiting on new 1.5 now :K

Thought i should give an update on this model, havent been on the forum for quite some time, but here 'ya go ....

ok now these are the pics as it is now, i have removed the lascannons and given it a quick re-paint, as i mentioned before please excuse the quality (and the yellow spots ) the reson for the second doors not being there is that i didnt have any spare, i have a land raider terminus, but unfortunatly i lost the spare doors from that :( so i cut up some plasticard to fit and put on some pistol port type thing's, i could at some point equip the tank with 2 bolters and say that there are bolters on either side that the crew can shoot out of for side proctection

there are various different things that could and one day when i get round to it may be done
