The eavy armor, cybork bodies and the oiler were added when my list came up short in points. The oiler and the cybork bodies were never used, I gaffed wounds off on the meks all tourney though, so the 4+ might have saved me an ork or two.

There is definitely a 'right' way to deploy and use the list. And you need to determine who is better at assault than you, so that you can play like a shooty army, and you need to determine who can outshoot you so you can run at them every turn. But other than that, enjoy a universal 4+ cover save, avoid difficult terrain and move at them and shoot.

There is a lot that you can’t tell by just looking at the battle points.

I had a couple of very bad matchups for me. I played Shep’s small (for unit #s) and very durable Ork army in a kill point mission, and dvdhwk’s million man drop troop army in a 5 objective mission.

If the scenarios were reversed I could have been in business!

Thats a good point. Battle points give some indication of how well you did. But the strength of your opponent is not taken into account. You score a massacre in game one, then meet a tourney regular in game 2, if he spanks you, then you end up with the same battle points as the guy that gets tabled on game 1, then massacres his opponent in game two. Both roads lead to the same place, but one road is much easier to take.

Very high battle scores do hold up though. It means you never really slipped up.

Blackmoor you should put your list up in here if you have the time. I would say that was a VERY strong list, made out of a book that doesn't get a lot of press. It has to be played well. Has a lot more complicated moving parts than an ork list, but plenty more firepower.

Its ALMOST making me want to start sisters... if that codex were not in such flux as to its future in the next 3 years there would be 3 exorcists in the mail heading my way.
