Some more pics for your guys . I dry brushed silver over the dread to give them a "used" look.
I covered the CSM in delvan mud, I was going for a "muddy" look. The was really helped on troops, especially on metal.
I am working on a landraider now. Once it is done I think I will start painting some orkz up .
Enjoy

One suggestion for ya, that I got from the "how to paint minatures paint", is really simple.

You can take an empty pot. Put enough paint in it to cover the bottom (like chaos black), then add a couple of drops of liquid hand soap, then the rest water (distilled would be best). Mix really well. You can even add a couple of drops in any of the washes that you can get from GW.

This will slick up the surface just a little, making the wash seep down into the recesses a little easier, to help pick out the details from the minature.

It also helps to water down you metallics just a little when you go to paint them. they are generally thick, and hard to work with, but with a little water, they slide onto the model so much easier.

Other than the washing and some drybrushing, I dig your paint scheme, and the idea behind your army. Possibly even look at doing different units with marks from different chapters. Ultra Marines with mark of slanesh to make noise marines. Blood Angels death company would make a good raptor squad with mark of khorne. Deathwing Terminators become corrupt. And so on.

Life is a game, Play to have fun!
