That is an exellent idea and it has crossed my mind but like JD said, they are indeed very hard to find. And once you do people want alot of money. Thankfully when I first started playing, it was my plan to run the craftworld Iyanden army list where each squad of Wraithguard you had you could field a wraithlord, all as troops. So I think I have around 18 Wraithguard lying around. I can use those guys for various conversions, but would definatly like to pick up a few of the Ghost Warriors if I get the chance!

just a question jimbo, how do you get your yellow so bright? it has perfect coverage.
The yellows on that guardian look a bit bright in that pic due to the way the picture was taken. That was a white basecoat, Iyanden darksun, then Elf flesh drybrushed over that, then P3 Yellow ink, then Sunburst yellow highlights. If you were talking about the VYPER though, that was spraypaint.
lol IMO spraying is the only way to go for vhecials, paiting the
GW acrylic yellows over such a large surface is just begging for a headache. I did my first falcon that way and was not pleased with the results at all.

Do you base your models?
Thanks! When I make my guys and play them I try to forget the meta game of "oh, eldar are so weak with
str 3 and toughness 3, I need to run and hide from marines" and just make them as badass as I can! As for basing, that guardian I just did was my first ever base job. So going forward I will be basing my army with that rocky desert theme.

YojimboJones: did you paint or use a marker for the guardian's Iyanden symbol?
I used a 0.5 Micron black pen. You can get some really good results with this kind of pen painting symbols and runes against a bright backround, just becarful because it will smudge very easily. So either paint it in out of the way places or be sure to use varnish.
Today i'll probably be basing my fire dragons so at least I can say i've got 1 squad that's 100% done. Then start working on jetbike warlocks and finishing up the wraithvyper.
