There seem to be no Flash Gitz parts in the sprues, but some 2-handed shootas, which can easily be converted to snazzguns if you want some.

Hooray for Mod-quisition!!! I got bored to tears not even half way through this thread yesterday with the THREE PAGES of rant vs anti-rant drivel...

Now I can see the actual content, must admit I'm not too fussed about there being no dedicated Flash Git parts in the Nobs box anyway... I know Jervis wants a model for every codex entry so that anything in the codex can be fielded at a tournament and keep TFG happy with every model spec as re;eased and no conversions but to be honest the main reason I play Orks is so I can have fun converting minis up, like the Lootas, I don't want a 10-12 ork squad or Lootas all as modelled by GW, I want to build my own having kitbashed the lootas box, the boyz box and my parts bin with a load of IG and Marine bits chucked in to make 10-12 completely different Loota guns. Same with the Flash gits, I don't want my snazzguns to be six slightly different 'generic' weapons the same as every other ork player has, one it's boring, and two, it doesn't fit the fluff!

Just my 2p

non-ranting now.
just hoping they include plenty of kombi or twin linked shootas for conversions.

kinda irritated my post was deleted with the workings out of flash gitz and model kill count per turn

also irritated that badrukk is being made, i would rather have a go myself

Similar thoughts here... the new Badrukk model is completely poo, I was just starting to scout around for likely bits to make one with as well. I think I still will, there's no way I'd pay money for that Badrukk, it's just bleurgh! *shudders*

all i was thinking to make him:

black reach warboos with head swap.
his long trenchcoat GS'd on.
armour over that.
pirate hat.
and a very large and evil looking gun.

Yeah, cos it's damn hideous.

I feel the same way about this model as you might if they re-released the Land Raider as a similar model to the original one from 1-2e.

It's only as good as the original was right? I think it's a bit of a marmite model really, if you dig 2e models you'll love badrukk, if you don't, you'll fethin' hate it. Like I do!

Badrukk is a lovely campy model, sometimes models are allowed to be that.

Now I know you've lost it!

Badrukk is "crap" but Boss "Village People" Zagstruk looks "good"?

Sure...

Seriously though, opinions differ, and the kids today sure do like their models all super-dynamic, with arms and legs akimbo, with extra flailing about if at all possible!

Even with out the snazgunz in the kit atleast it will be plastic so probably a bit easier then trying to work with the current metal nobz.

I will get atleast one box of all the new ork plastics, and probably two of the nobz and battle wagons.

I have always loved bad moons, so no self respecting boss would go to war with out some Flash Gitz to show the other boyz who has the money. And the notion they are to expensive is silly, that is why our teef grow so quick.

I did like seeing a new slaver on the gretchen sprue.

I personally love the Badrukk model. It's campy, like Army of Darkness campy. I'm not even going to say the line, you know which one I'm talking about.

Every ork boss doesn't have to like Ghazkull, they are an eccentric bunch those orks.

Dakka. You need more of it. No exceptions.

What are you talking about? They're Space Marines, which are heroic. They need to be able to do all the heroic stuff. They fight aliens and don't afraid of anything. -Orkeosarus

I thik that the Badrukk model is pretty good, it just needs a little tweak here and there to make it slightly less 'vertical'. Turning his sabre out with a conversion would help the dynamism a bit, and just wee bigger tusks would get his 'rictus grin' gob-full of teef across well.
