Oh yeah, and I thought I would mention that I really liked the ambiguous mention of the the two 'lost' chapters of marines. Whenever I see a list of the twenty founding chapters I am really interested in the two deleted ones, when were they deleted, obviously now they were stopped pre heresy but were they made into a full chapter and than stopped, what happenned to the Primarchs?

Yeah I caught that reference to the 2 lost legions too. Does anybody here think gw will explain them finally? I honestly don't think it will deter any SM players from creating their own fluff, and it seems like most folks just want to know the story already!

Veteran Sergeant wrote:Oh wait. His fluff, at this point, has him coming to blows with Lionel, Angryon, Magnus, and The Emprah. One can only assume he went into the Eye of Terror because he still hadn't had a chance to punch enough Primarchs yet.

Mechanicum is good and I agree that BFTA was not the greatest book and I did have to struggle through it I liked how the ending cut off
Spoiler:
right when the invasion of Calth was starting so we just got the one part of the story
. I'm pumped and awaiting the continuation of the actual Horus storyline, can't wait to see how the siege of Terra is shown.
While it would be badass to know what happened to the missing chapters I don't think GW will ever tell. I read an interview with a GW employee regarding canon (which I'll link if I can find it again) he said that nothing in the WH40K universe is to be considered canon. Citing that all stories may be told from one side or that all the facts may not be included because the "author" doesn't know them. This is intentional so players can create or do anything within the WH40K universe. I was pretty disheartened after reading that, I'll try to look it up and get it here.

Well, I can see the point of them saying sumthing like that, but I think its utter garbage.

The authors dont know all the fluff? Hokay, fair enough, but they should at least get some idea about what the hell is going on. Some authors seem to know nothing about the fluff whatsoever, creating crappy books that make the eyes bleed.

And to give players some room to interpret stuff for themselves is fine as well, but that doesnt mean you cant at least present a decent and coherent fluff base (i.e. the heresy and all that) to begin with.
