Right, we are playing (what I think is) the final of the campaign tonight. P4nc4k3 is playing baby butlers Eldar and Bens SM scouts, to decide the fate of the goliath bomb fingers crossed the sub-sector isn't blown up!!!

Right, this was the final game for our =][=munda campaign, the goliath bomb. Essentiallly the bomb has the power to blow up a planet (or in the case of mkII, a subsector). (more background here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/223870.page) The 3 remaining players in the campaign were P4nc4k3 (regenade PDF), Baby Butler (Eldar) and Ben (Ultramarine scout kill team). I was knocked out of the campaign earlier and Spaceduck was ill.
So with the objectives decided, (the goliath bomb being the main objective and the ignition codes were a secondary objective) and some special rules in play (each player will roll a d3 (+1 on the first turn) every turn and recieve that many gang members until there are none left)
Turn 1
The Eldar rangers are the first to arrive, obviously the farseers predicted this battle! 3 space marine scouts are alerted by the noise and emerge from a sewer. The regenades, although last, are more prepared and 4 of them arrive through one of their outposts.
The Eldar rangers tried to find targets through the buildings but can not see any thing. The space marines have more luck as the scout on point shoots a regenade armed with an autocannon, his bullet knocks the traitor off the building, leaving him lying on the floor. The rest of the spacemarines fire away but even with their superior training, their shots fail to hit anything. The regenades shots go wild as well.
Turn 2
The traitors call in 3 more regenades to assist them and the rebel on the floor goes into cardio arrest and dies. The remainder of the space marines sprint into the daylight and 3 of the mysterious Eldar leap through a ruined buildings windows onto the battlefield. 2 of the regenades take pot shots at the SM but 1 of their normally reliable guns jams and the other ricochets off the scouts armour. Another traitor with twin laspistols blasts away at another scout but fails to hit. The SM fire back with all the benediction of the God Emperor, unfortunetley their service is not rewarded as they fail to hit or wound anything apart from their own sniper!!! Who recieves an artifical injury. The Eldar also cannot seem to hit anything.
Turn 3
The space marines are not phased by their lack of success and advance through the ruins. The Traitor PDF's leader moves into the bottom floor of the building containing the codes another 1 of the plucky regenades climbs onto the first floor of the goliath bomb building. Also 2 more traitors move towards the objectives. The Eldar realise they need to get further towards the objectives and all of them move. The space marines have the same awful luck as their last shooting round and all fail to do anything (apart from one bolter wielding scout runs out of ammo!) The pdf's leaders expensive plasma pistol jams in mid shot. The traitors put up an impressive fuisilade of fire power but even after numerous hits they fail to injure anyone. The Eldar do worse than anyone else as one of their rangers manages to kill himself!!!
Turn 4
All of the Eldar, sensing the sands of time runnig out run towards the objectives and 1 makes it onto the 1st floor of the goliath bomb building. The regenades leader moves up a floor to claim the codes, while another of his pawns moves up onto the bomb building. Also 2 more rebel PDF move towards the SM. A SM scout charges into one of the PDF, while the squads leader tries to climb up into the goliath bomb building via a window but he slips and falls to the floor and suffers a flesh wound. 2 of his men immedaitley move forwards to help him. The regenades on top of the buildings shoot at the guardian, who had just climbed up, the force of their shots knocked him off the building. The rest of the shots from the SM and the Eldar failed to do anything. The regenade with 2 laspistols face off against a SM scout and in a stunning move emptied a dozen shots through the scouts head and then reloaded his pistols( Lara Croft syle )
Turn 5
The SM sniper stealthily slid towards the regenades while the squads leader managed to climb in through the window. The 2 bolter wielding squad members made their way towards the Eldar. 1 of the regenades ran along the upper gantry of the goliath bomb building. While the Lara Croft stand in engages the SM sniper. The Eldar guardians both climb buildings and the dire avenger climbs a 1/2 size building. The Eldars shots miss the Monkee's completley. The SM leader has a bit more luck when he knocks over a regenade with a grenade launcher. The Rebel PDF fail to do anything apart from giving athe SM leader another superficial wound. They achieve nothing except a lucky shot which knocks over the regenade with the grenade launcher.
Aftermath
At the end of the game the SM had control of the bomb, keeping the planet safe but the regenades had the codes which they bargained with the Imperium for off world passage.

Pics? Those are the most crucial thing for =I=munda, the pretty stuff...where is it? :(

this might sound harsh but i mean no disrespect, for the very little that is on the board there really should be no reason its not all painted and based, besides the fact if you guys really dont care then thats fine. i give the paint jobs a 4.5 out of 10. the report was good though.

It's just that you used those pics for your battlereport. I mean if it's purely battlereports it should be in that part of the forum. But since this is an =I=munda blog we're all curious about the gangs themselves.

It would be awesome to get one centralised place for =I=munda, not necicarilly a new site, as Dakka-Dakka is awesome, but maybe its own Forum.

Hmm, an =I=munda site? We need more dedicated people for that I think. For now it's good on DakkaDakka, however if more and more people start to play it and perhaps come up with their own stuff as well we could perhaps open a separate forum or even a site.

no no, i wouldent want to see it get its own site (I was trying to say that before) but a forum were we could share ideas would be good.

We have an =I=munda thread in the Skirmish Forum so you can discuss the game play and stuff there!

However, a separate site would be cool but only if this thing would become "big", right now it's just a few people posting blogs and such.

Ok admittedly this thread hasn't been the... smoothest, ever, but we really need to let it die now. The campaign is over, Mostly because of the Xmas holidays means we don't have access to all the terrain we have at school...
There really should've been more gang coverage, MC and me detailed ours but the other players were unable, there were two battle reports, mine which was crap and MC's which was good, some OK pictures taken by Model Collectors brother, and a lot of arguing
that was a eulogy of sorts, now I finish by saying, the Autocannon guy didnt go into cardio arrest, his spleen ruptured you fool!
