that is what I thought I think this one will be sent to the bitz box never to be seen again, i'm only happy with the Nurgle symbol on his shoulderpad so I will use that as a basis for the next few that I do.

@deadly chicken: No i'm not doing a full squad I only need 4 Melta Gunners and basic trooper, for the rest I am using stock Plague Marine models.

Right another quick update, sadly no pics this time just a chronicle of a mad position I'm now faced, as many of you know I am a tournament gamer and I have just managed to find my first tournament of the year to be next Monday. Luckily I now have my Lash army assembled so its time to get it painted....in a week.

Here's the list of things to do:

20 Plague Marines: 11 Completed

6 Obliterators:

2 Rhinos:

2 Daemon Princes: 1 Done

Made some headway into the painting today and got 11 Plague Marines done atm they are pretty basic and all the detail work will need doing after the tournament, but they are good enough to play with and 11 in a day aint that bad

noy bad at all, takes me a week to paint 1 marine but i have skool and a ton of homework

@Deadly Chicken: Yeh me too and I have Uni and stuff too, I can normally only paint one model at a time to get it to a standard that I like.

On that note luckily the tournament has had to be downgraded to 1000pts, so I don't have to rush the army, however in the flurry of painting I have slowed down and can work on the details of the models I painted properly and get them done to a standard that I am happy with.

Therefore I present the first Plague Marine squad of my Lash army, only one model is completed and I am still toying over what to do the bases I am leaning towards a more Urban One with prehaps toxic waste split on the floor but I am undecided on that what you think?

on a completley different note, I'm buying the new plastic stormlord tank and converting it to chaos, and to make a long story short, does anybody have any ideas for a cool name????

Dont worry deery, the organic green have extremely nice contrast with the rotten flesh color you gave them. So they have a really sharp color despite been nurgle . They are great!

Well lo and behold i've decided to keep this thing going to try and get some motivation for painting again, as such heres a few WIPs I have going at the moment, the first PM Rhino and a Nurgle Baneblade, be nice to the BB he is still very WIP and a bit self conscious.

Nice corruption on the BB, but the rhino looks a bit boring.

how did you achieve the flesh look on the baneblade??

I swear I've seen those models before. You didn't happen to be in GW Chester just before Easter did you there was a guy who was painted plague marines that looked just like yours.

Heh, thats quite odd, i've never been to Chester let alone the GW there, tbf though its a very simple scheme achieved mainly with the application of a tank brush so it wouldn't surprise me if people have used the same recipe as me.

Its just Catachan Green, Camo Green, Rotting Flesh followed by Thraka and Devlan mix applied in generous amounts.

Unless I have a body double that lives in Chester, thank BT you've made me paranoid now......

like the green highlighting on the rhino's dozer blade.
