What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Don't forget that while GW obviously promote the official models you can play with anything you like as long as you are not in a GW shop or tournament.
The fun opportunity of SF games is to model all kinds of crazy stuff which you can't do in historicals.

WOW, not what I was expecting... I like it, this is by far the best piece you've posted (that I've seen). Keep on improving, and if this is a sign of things to come, keep on posting em!

Really cool cardstock Carnifex! I would also love to see the template (and accompanying word doc), although I'm sure it's very difficult to attempt!

Ray, you've gone to a lot of effort there just to see if you like the way a Carnifex plays, but what a result ! I've seen retail cardstock kits that don't match that level of finish and detail in their parts.
For something you're using as a temporary proxy model it's a damned good result IMO
