Coo, thanks very much, all!
Kid Kyoto wrote:what codex are you useing for them?
I initially started the army with the intention of using Witchhunters with Guard, but then the Tempus Fugitives
13th Black Crusade campaign weekend came about; which was using a great
Codex: Cult Mechanicus. Being dead enthusiastic about the ol' Ad Mech, I had quite a bit of input into the current list – mainly thanks to an indulgent author, a great cat called Ulfhedin.
This was always more a modelling and background-mining project than a gaming one, so it tended to be a case of me making a little model based on background snippets, then working out how best to represent it using the Codex!

If you're referring to the hypaspists (sorry – bit confused: most of the models have robes!

), then they're based on Bretonnian men-at-arms with cadian arms, custom shoulderpads, various heads and greenstuff hoods.

Yep, pretty much every model has substantial
GS work – the hoods on the infantry and COGs, for example. In fact, aside from some of the Skulz techpriests and henchmen, every model is converted.
Thanks again for all the comments: it's given me a warm glow in my mark XIV haemo-cycling unit.

I've posted a few bits here and there; so possibly. If anyone wants to have a look, then I guess I could chuck up another thread.
Or, hell, just post 'em here and not clutter up the forum:
Here's a
WIP Mark I Rhino
A
WIP Roboute Guilliman
WIP Scout sergeant
A few brother-marines
Santiagon
including bald patch:
Neosebius
Atlion
Eumon
Neophrast
More...
etc.
These guys are for the
Great Crusade Campaign Weekend up in Warhammer World this May, so I need to get 3,000pts done quicksharp!
