Just reran the numbers tonight. Opened up all the cases and foam trays, did a manual count of each figure I have painted since June 14 of 2008.
Surprisingly, my running total ended up being correct! Wow.. what a shock!
At this time, May 5th, 2009, I have 17 models left to paint before June 15th 2009 to qualify for the 520 club!

Work for the goverment, in a computer facility. On weekends, I run backups (about 5 minutes of attention once every 2 hours).. and in between, they have no problems with painting, as long as I keep a 15 foot distance away from any computer hardware.

And in the 20th week.. he said.. It was Good.
This weekend, I took it easy, only painting 4 models.. Eldar Warp Spiders including Exarch.
And.. miracle of miracles.. that puts me at 522 models painted since June 14thish 2008.
I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No longer just a probationary.. I am a full fledged member of the 520 club.. I have fulfilled my 520 Vow!

Right now, I have 4 completely painted.
SM - Omega Marines (about 4500 points)
Orks - Waagh Magshak (about 2500 points)
Tyranids - Hive Fleet Orkin (about 3400 points)
Eldar - Craftworld H'rshei (about 3400 points) (However the points WILL drop a bit if GW ever decides to treat transports for Eldar nicer)
Started painting...
Sisters of Battle - Order of St. Ursula (need to total)
And.. starting to amass raw models for the future Space Wolf codex.. which I will be fielding as a gray/orange paint scheme.

Heh heh... Hadn't seen this thread. I started updating my painting progress on my user profile earlier in the year, but I only got around to updating it once. Nice work knocking up and over the 520! I kept myself distracted by university this year so far, and have done very little in the 6 months to date of 2009... but have recently gotten back into the grind.

I have still to paint - over a hundred greenskins, three vyper jetbikes, about 100x 28mm Soviets (possibly as Finnish winter war reservists), a FOW Soviet infantry company, at least 75 more models for my Skaven army (which is being expanded), and the beginnings of my IG and WoC armies, if they ever get anywhere.
