That goes beyond "reminds", it's a dead ringer. Every weapon mount is in the same place, the sensor mast and everything. I smell shenanigans.

These are probably based on old WW1/WW2 land battleship designs. This was back when they were thinking fighting on land would become duels between giant tanks like battleships of old.

Russians had a bunch of designs and prototypes for such vehicles.

The Miyazaki model was originally released in 2005, but it was likely in an anime of his before that. Who know when the bauhaus model game out but you can be sure they drew from the same resources.
