Wouldn't a few sentinels complement the chimera nicely?

I usually keep my sentinels close by my chimeras, this creates a gauntleted fist that (with the dice gods blessing) chokes the life out of light armor in a single round of brutal shooting.

Anyone else have similar luck with such a formation?
