has anyone ever converted the LotR Oiliphaunt into a squiggoth? it was planning this a while back, and was wondering if anyone had had success with it.

if you, you could have a herd of squiggoth, including a mammy and pappy squiggoth for rather cheap.

I reckon a SnakeBites Kult of Speed (with orks riding Cold Ones counting as bikes, etc) would be very cool

I don't know.
It doesn't look any smaller than a regular squiggoth to me. Not substantially so, anyway.

Does anyone have a similar comparison shot for the Stegadon?

The height and width of the FW squigoth isnt that much different. But the over all bulk and mass of it is around 20% larger than the stegadon.

The size issue can be changed by simply replacing ork gunner into grots.

Or like the picture above, without any ork pilots to indicate the size, it led us to believe it was bigger than it actually is.

The posts are mine, I used parts from the Trukk kit. The Lizardmen platform has two levels, the part in the front is a bit lower, but you'll have to check that yourself.
Masaioh wrote:1. How big is the stegadon?

2. Where did you get that zzap gun? It's not the Battlewagon one, is it?

Look for a pic of the new Stegadon. It's about as long as the new Trukk but not as wide or high. Maybe I'll post a size comparison later.
Yes, it is the Zzapgun from the battlewagon. I was considering using a normal Grot Kannon, but I liked the Zzapper so much I decided to use it instead. I need the battlewagon kannon for my superheavy tank.

God Of Yams wrote:If you ever consider making feral orks, the old codex does allow for 4 different squiggoth sizes, the smallest being less that 6 inches with 3 wounds.

That is, if your opponent agrees to let you use it...

By Gork, I hate that list. Sure, 4 different Squiggots and Squig herds sound great when you read it for the first time, but the basic profile got shifted. Almost all of the Orks have WS and BS of 3 instead the usuall 4 and 2. No way am I using this list. Which doesn't mean that I don't want more Squiggoths of course, no matter the size

gamefreak wrote:its not what i would think of as a squiggoth

i think you should come up with a whole new data sheet and call it a squiggifant

Funny you would say that. The german name for Squiggoths is actually Squiggofant.

I was considering it, the biggest problem would be the head I guess. I have no problem if my Squiggoth looks like a dinosaur, but I wouldn't want him to look like a giant elephant.

hmm, the stegadon has a spare head, I'll have to check whether it woul look totally silly on a LotR Mumakil (at the end of a new greenstuff neck, presumably) - I have a half-built Mumakil but really aren't that much into LotR so will probably never finish it

Thanks for the comparison pics, I still say it's a perfect counts-as trukk, that way you can use it for normal games

Here is my Squigoth next to a truck.

It's almost the same width and length as a Ork Trukk. The FW squigoth is a little bigger, but I'm using it as a Truck with Wreaking Ball.

Yep. Now that I see comparison pics... definitely smaller.

I don't care. I think it's EXCELLENT.... and, with some plasticard, greenstuff, and a jewelers saw, it can be made longer quite easily.

LMAO. he seems to just pop up from time to time to say what everyone else has already said...

i still think this is viable as the smallest size of squiggoth. how long is the stegadon in good old inches?
