The austion IS real. In the notes for payment, it says don't bid unless you really want to pay the $5k just in case some idiot really does want it. I'm sur ethat I can get it from the owner for that price.

I will say this, I have found a new hobby within 40k. I plan on doing at least two more bids like this. The next one will have something to do with panhandling another army even more PRO PAINTED army. Gimme a couple of weeks and I'll let DAkka know first.
