I'm fine with rolling for it. If it keeps popping up, I just roll again. You're right though, really fething bad FAQ's....

I completely agree that many of the rules problems are people seeking advantage where none is to be had.
That said, I have two big problems with GW's rules: Firstly, that they very rarely define terms properly and sometimes use them ambiguously. Secondly, that they mix rules, explanation and fluff with no clear distinction.

Actually, they are 99% pretty good at separating "fluff" in one paragraph, with the rules worthy part in the last paragraphs under a rule. The stuff preceding it is usually to give you context, reason, and intent in an entertaining way to read. Though it can be confusing.
