Actually, there's quite a bit of stuff nearby. The big road to the south of the hotel is Butterfield, and about a klick west on that road is the Chicago Battle Bunker. I think there's a Books-A-Million even closer to the hotel in the same direction. All of this stuff is on the north side of the street (Butterfield), so you might be able to walk it if you can get across Highland Ave.

Is there some odd problem with Highland Ave? Should I brush up on Frogger before I go?

Unlike what seemed like every army at adepticon....my Grey Knights are ill equipped to have an interesting game against Nob Bikers.

I wound up booking with the Airport Express shuttle; $92 round-trip for 4 of us. Not terrible, but not cheap. I share Alan’s feeling of irony about the locals complaining about last year’s parking costs.
