I think I can get some CS people together and create program, if there is enough interest.

It's surprisingly difficult to do right. I tried to do one a few years ago and even my modest goal (which was more of just a glorified 'calculator' to automate some of the annoyances of using a spreadsheet) ended up with a bunch of odd problems. It's certainly possible, but it can be hard to get right.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

Anyone who actually believed that should be sterilized.

To squeeze more money out of their customers?

I was GW staff when the IAL was released. I fully believed it would be supported. Knowing the individuals repsonsible for the support gave me even more reason to.. I believed it so much that I offered to buy back the IAL discs if someone was not happy.

I only bought back two discs, but I should have bought back about 50.. I'm not sure why those people didn't bring them back, perhaps they felt sorry for me. I guaranteed something I shouldn't have, but I was 100% sure it would work and be supported. Let's just say the poor guy that supposed to support it got no rest from my emails begging him to unbury his head..

needless to say, I still own my copies and those 2 other discs.. Unless Gw comes out with an IAL with a moneyback guarantee, I'll be very hesitant to go anywhere near it. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.

So there was A guy (singular) that was supposed to support it, and he didn't so the company was powerless to do anything?

That's one of the most unbelievable things I have heard.

They decided they didn't have the manpower to support it. They weren't powerless at all, they just made a decision not to follow through.. Big difference I think.
