If I could afford to send an army over for you to paint I would, but sending it from England to the US is a little pricey.

The cheapest painting service I found was from a friend who is an artist, and he charges what the model cost in the store.

I have to agree ( i know its semi off topic ) but the shipping fee from N.America to Europe is so scary that i feel i should warn everyone... especially me
and another dakka member ended up been hit with total of $125 shipping rofl!

Ouch dude. And you don't live as far as I do either from the US.

That being said - back to topic.

After seeing the paint job on these models, it is indeed a fair price to pay for quality painting.

overall, i think the orks look good, but there's something about the yellow missile tips i'm not caring for, it seems a bit less smooth then the rest of the paintjob or something.

Dude, your whites are too white on your orks and they just seem to have basic color paintjobs with little weathering. Just a little positive criticism from a fellow painter. I think I'll be starting a painting service on Dakka now, I guess I always underestimated my painting.

The whites are verry crisp on the bikers because in real life most bikers keep their colors clean no matter what the situation may be. That is fact from personal experance, My oldest Brother is a Chapter Member of a bike club that is verry well known. His jacket and vest almost always look brand new.

For constructive criticism, I'd also like to see something different with the white and yellow. The white looks great on the horns with the darker edge at the base, and now it looks great a little dirtied up on the skull

. I think because of the number of coats it takes to build up to it, it ends up looking very "stark" compared to the other colors, and flat. Maybe you need another color to help build up to the white/yellow, so it does not take as many coats? I definitely like it better dirtied up as you have it, and it might be possible to make this a little smoother, so that it has the same depth as your other colors do. This is definitely a good start!

Overall: Those koptas and this bike are Awesome

For C&C, I'd make the same comment about the white. I am loving it on that skull in pic number 6. I think the teeth and collars would look awesome done the same way

i guess i am put on the back burner then. he is usually good about replying have not heard anything for a while, after he told me he was starting on my project. sent him something else in the mail but no confirmation on whether he got it or not . so he had me a little worried.
