It was a French production shot mostly in New York with a mix of French and American actors. It is kind of blurry but I don't think labeling it a French film would be to far off the mark.

foreign, culture-wise, battle royal gory and violent as hell but still makes you think plus I like takashi (I think that was his name the one that helps shuya and noriko) double plus killing off shogo right at the start was great
