A model losing a wound doesn't change its fundamental characteristics. Think of it more of a counter. I see where you're confused. as they could have worded the line at the top of 26 better.

The example with the Nobs is proof enough that wounds do not ungroup models.

So what happens when a squad of 10 sternguard hit with 8 meltaguns a squad of 8 Nobs that are all armed differently?

Does he have the ability to remove 4 models. Placing 2 instadeath wounds on each model since they have 2 wounds?

I dont think it works that way.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Each of the 8 nobs would take one of the melta wounds.

Any nob that failed whatever saves they had would be instakilled.

However, if they had taken 8 melta wounds and 8 bolter wounds, they could put all 8 melta wounds on 4 of the nobs, and the 8 bolter wounds on the other 4 (wich makes firing the bolters a liability).

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it.

If say 4 of the nobs had 1 wound already , you would then have to apply the 8 melta shots to the 4 unwounded nobs right ! This would make the bolter fire more effective as firing on models with fewer available wounds ! Or am I completely wrong !

If all the nobs had the same equipment, yes. If they have different equipment, no.

there is no way for 2+ models with identical equipment to be already wounded - as you must remove already wounded models first.

The whole point of this wound allocation chicanery is to assign ID causing wounds on already wounded models, which you could not normally do!

O RLY!

Two Generic Space Marine Chapter Masters Start off separate, each take 1 Wound each then form a unit together as per the IC rules.

Two Generic Space Marine Chapter Masters start off together as a Unit of 2 IC's, one takes a wound, then the other is wounded by a Vindicare.

Could taking dangerous terrain tests for each model also cause this?

Yes, It should, as each model takes the test seperately.

Imagine a Weidboy Teleporting a Bunch of Nobz, scattering into terrain and everyone rolling a 1.

10 Nobz all with 1 wound each. THIS IS MADNESS!

Gah....yes you pedantic person. In *most* situations that aren't Gwar inspired you'd only have 1 on 1 wound
