The largest can grow to the hight at the shoulder comparable to a Rhino APC, usually the Alpha Males.

Those are the ones the marines go off, in nothing but a tunic, to find and kill with their bare hands to assume leadership of a pack.

It's considered a test of Strength and Loyalty. A Fenrisan Wolf is one of the few natural things able to kill a Space Wolf with any Degree of Certainty, to bend a WHOLE PACK of the fethers to do whatever you want is impressive

Also don't forget 40k Marines and Rhinos have a different scale to normal Humans. I meant TruScale Rhinos

If you want true scale wolves, there was a company that made excelent Wolf Models, but I cannot for the life of me remember what its name was

That's what the text said. I'm scared, though, on how much that'll cost in the end. It'll be €30 in Spain. (even though the relation is not $1 to €1, a box of 10 marines costs the same in both Games Workshop's sites, so chances are that they cost $10 dollars as well in US)

at least the wolves actually look like fenisian wolves. When the new codex comes out I'm thinking about had modeling the actually wolves to TRUE SIZE...

If GW made the wolf models to true size they'll cost like 20 bucks a peice...
