I dont want to post the shop name or anything, because it was only one person (out of the entire staff) which are like this. The other members of staff actually greet you with a 'hello' or something, not a grunt... I dont want to give them a bad name as the other guys are easy to get along with and fun to play with/against.

If its just one d-bag then I'd report it to his boss and tell that guy that I'd be talking to the boss's boss as well. Thats what managers and bosses are for; keep the peons in check.

However were you acting like a d-bag yourself? Perhaps the tone or body language you used might have made him apprehensive in this situation however your internet posts seem respectable.

Study hard, gain qualifications, seek gainful employment.

GW staffers earn just enough money to live on a diet of baked beans and straw, it makes them bitter.

Enjoy revenge over this tinpot dictator by doing a paper round and you'll have already gained more money and more respect in the community.

Bringing in a toy car or train made orky and being told to take it out of the event... It makes me cross.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE HOBBY WITH THIS COMPANY?!?

HOW FAR FROM WHAT THEY WERE MUST THESE CORPORATE MAMON BASTARDS CONTINUE TO DRIFT?

I think MGS siad it perfectly. Shoot back in the early versions of the games, you just made your own stuff. That was the way of it. Didnt have a tank? Build one! Everyone here knows of the deodorant grav tank. Thats another reason why I have my own table, and people come here to play on it. Im not going to pull a GW red shirt BS thing and say HEY that isnt GW legal FETH OFF!

The GW I visit doesn't believe in this rule luckily, so we are allowed to field anything our opponent will agree with. Though I can see why this would be an issue for you.

I like both of those quite a bit-especially the Truk.

I don't play at a GW store-I've got a good FLGS really close-, but it seems like their policy on stuff like this is really poorly defined. Guy might just be doing what he sees as his job. Although, someone ought to explain to him that making the customers mad isn't really a good idea.
