For those of us who are using the FAQs released by GW and available on the GW website, they directly cite the example of a named special character being unable to take the Cybork upgrade. So GW games design studio do not allow the cybork for special characters, this will also be applied at the vast majority of tourneys across the world and further in all the GW shops and the great majority of casual games as well.

If you tried 'FAQs aren't really real' with my gaming circle you can expect some very strange looks and muttering of several quite rude terms.

So you can respond to every damned post in the YMDC area Gwar and continue to repeat yourself till RSI finally, mercifully silences you, but you still remain in a very small minority and the majority will use FAQs.

You're right. If you're not playing with the FAQ I could see how you could come to that conclusion but for those of us who DO utilize the GW FAQ's then their answer is clearly authoritative. next question.
