Are Koalas in Australia? I think with the potential for having a kangaroo in the backyard, I can sell the kids on the idea. Not sure about my wife. We might have to bring my mother-in-law along, which would be fine with me. I have the anti-typical-mother-in-law. She adores me, criticizes my wife (her daughter), cooks, cleans, helps with the kids. She's more motherly and caring towards me than either my mother or step-mother.

Yes Koala's are in Australia. But, unless you're in a rural area (more inland, but not too much) you're not going to see that many around the place. The reason I posted that is because I have lived here since i was 2 (20 now) and this is the first time I've seen one around here.

If you live near the city they're in the zoo.

I don't care. If there's koalas and kangaroos, I bet that I can get the kids and wife to move.

I hope Australia is in need of overweight geotechnical engineers!

Sorry for the little bit of thread necromancy. Maybe Brazil is a better destination. I wouldn't mind having 2 months a year off work. Yep, Brazil and Lithuania both have 41 days off between vacation and holidays.

In the US, it's only 25 days, which is about what I have (I think that I have 26 between holidays and vacation days).

Aw man one of my staff is from Norway, you don't ever want to say that to her, she'll kick your ass.

Hell she still grumbles about Sweedes because they returned folks trying to head over the border to escape to stay 'Neutral.'
