The Pirate Captain of Sartosa and the Mordhiem Elf Mage would make excellent inquisitor conversions.

The space marine commander box set is your friend.
but for my inquisitor i used Fabius bile and gave him a rather suave purple cape.
what else.
You could use some bitz from the IG cadian command squad sprues.
also just have a good look through your bitz box.
green stuff is your friend, with inquisitors the sky is the limit.

I just thought of another clever source of conversion bits that I've used: The Empire Wizards box from WH fantasy. Lots of robes, staffs, funny hats and random bits.

I used the "emperors Champion" spazz marine model for one of my Inqs. Simple arm switch and a GS cloak, and a gauntlet mounted plasma pistol.

For my second Inq, I used a Inq model from GW, the one with the book specifically. Hand swap book for a chaos hammer and took off the bolt pistol, mounted a Plasma pistol instead.

Third is the Cortez model, Had to cut off the arm that is holdingthe eagle, remount a spazz marine arem ahte GS the fur from his cape.

i like the cortez idea but need to work a psycannon in there somehow and really dk. Maybe an arm mounted on like termies and a book in the other? or a null rod?

I remodeled mine off of the High Marshal of the Black Templars, replacing the sword with Coteaz's Hammer, along with removing and applying the iconography. It looks Sweet.
