It still looks a little bit off, but I can't quite put my finger on why. The last render is definitely the best of the lot and is perfectly passable, as is. Perhaps if it were on a full body the subtle differences in shape would seem less glaring? With just the helmet to look at, it's the only place to see errors and it alone has to be able to convey the entire image of a Space Marine.

here we are 5th and (hopefully) final render of the helmet by itself. A few minor changes. Refined the crest intake, pulled the brim of the cap down, hooded the eyes slightly and refined the rebreather tubes. Let me know what you think and if youve got any ideas for chapter colours fire them my way. Im going for white scars at this stage but i feel it looks a little plain.

Newest render looks great. And for colors check out the scythes of the emperor i'm not sure why but the color scheme looks cool to me.

Thats amazing work mate. I don't know how you have the patience to do that. Computers are hard *scratches head*..I only know how to use audio software.
I suggest 'Mentors', . One of my new favourite chapter colours.
But with White Scars you can do the red lighting strike on the helmet. There is a picture in the SM 5th ED Codex.

Of course, as an American, that means I must say that soccer sucks, and football (real football... you know, the one where you do everything with your hands) is 10,000 times as good. I mean, football players could probably beat up soccer players, even, because they actually know sports. i rather like the sons of guiliman version.
i think the helmet would look damn cool with a more realistic texture, if you have the time

It has occured to me that the forehead looks kind of blank, i don't know how hard it would be to do, but a little aquila or skull would make it look a little cooler in my opinion.
