More like the banshees are incredibly overpriced due to 5th edition changes that cripple all eldar CC units except the avatar and jetbike warlocks
Non-assault ramp transport.. check
transport with only access point in the rear and end its movement phase facing the enemy so the banshees can get out NEXT TURN? Check
Or
Transport that is 5" long which negates the banshees 6" movement if the transport faces away from the enemy.. check
Cannot clear kill zone anymore so they get mauled by anything due to T3 and Sv 4+.. check
No more consolidation so if they DO clear kill zone they die with T3 and a 4+ save.. check
I havent used really used any eldar CC unit except the above mentioned avatar and jetbike warlocks since 5th
Maybe if they were 10 pts id *consider* banshees since they still arent scoring

This was back in 3rd or 4th. Before the most recent, crappy Chaos codex.
Pariahs need to be cheaper too...
I don't play Orks, and rarely ever see them, so I know nothing about them.

Banshee: 16pts
Bloodletters: 16pts (someone said same price as banshees...)
Incubi: 25 pts
Looking at this.. I think Incubi should get a price decrease!!
I'm paying 9 points for -1 T, +1 I and a +3 save (no invulnerable though).
Aren't Incubi S5 too?

Anuvver fing - when they do sumfing, they try to make it look like somfink else to confuse everybody. When one of them wants to lord it over the uvvers, 'e says "I'm very speshul so'z you gotta worship me", or "I know summink wot you lot don't know, so yer better lissen good". Da funny fing is, arf of 'em believe it and da over arf don't, so 'e 'as to hit 'em all anyway or run fer it. |

Incubi are WS5, S4 (S3+1), T3. Think they're initiative 5 too, I believe they can buy plasma grenades but don't come with them attached.

Eldar Corsairs: 4000 pts
Imperial Guard: 4000 pts
Corregidor 700 pts
Acontecimento 400 pts |

If Incubi were str 5 in CC, then they'd definitely be worth 25 pts. I can't help but think that would be overkill though... Already it's a 1 Incubi per MEQ kill in CC on the charge.
I know!! Give incubi fleet, and I will love them forever!

Banshee’s have two major drawbacks.
They share a Force Organization Slot with the most efficient vehicle killing unit in the game – Fire Dragons. Mathematically, a 10 large squad of banshees can swing with 30 attacks, hit MEQ’s with 15, and wound with 5. For the same price, a 10 large squad of Fire Dragons can shoot with 10 fusion guns, hit with 6.66, and wound with 5.55 – but they can also stomp Landraiders into the ground without breaking a sweat.
Against MEQ opponents, Banshees can hit hard. But that same 10 large squad of banshee’s will fold like tissue paper under the weight of a comparably priced squad of Boyz or Gaunts

Banshees are priced fine. They're not as good as Harlies.

I second that.
Speaking of Fire Dragons, do you think that an army with 3 squads of say, 8 fire dragons (including Exarch) each would be a good basis for an army?

I'd use it. Phenomenal shooting, and it's not like Fire Dragons are slouches in close combat. They ARE aspect warriors.

Good but take lots of scatter lasers in the rest of your army to deal with infantry. You dont want to be caught playing 100+ orks.

If you have that many fire dragons in a unit, then take a dragons breath flamer to give the unit some versatility.
