Same here, it works if your kit has lightweight or marathon attached. If you're sniping though, its pretty stupid to have.

Playstyle: Run. Stab someone. Run some more. Stab someone else. Maybe shoot at someone. First started using this build on FFA (mmm... Rust...), but haven't used it much there since the playlist changed and FFA uses much bigger and less chaotic maps now. Now I grab this as my kamikaze class for sabotage/domination games (thus the C4 and smoke). Not high enough level yet for the last set of challenges, so it pissed me off to see my roommate complete a 3 melee kill streak and complete a challenge, when I regularly stab 5-8 people without slowing down, no challenge to complete yet. Need a Tac Knife, but I just don't use the pistols enough, will probably grind for it on the Desert Eagle though.

Playstyle: Shoot it til it stops moving. Shoot it some more to be sure. When I absolutely have to move, grenades & a shotgun are my friends.

Perk 1: Scavenger Pro (yay! more grenades, rockets, AND claymores!)

Playstyle: Fire Javelin at random high traffic location. Lay a claymore pointing one way, go the other. Fire grenades at anything that moves. If it's a hard approach, lay down smoke first. Scavenge for ammo off of any kills with grenade launcher. Use ACR if out of grenades. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Ehhh... I rented it a few days ago, though I was so much better at WaW... I usually play hardcore with something like this

I just picked up the game this weekend since I was gonna be snowed in. I blew through the campaign on saturday then tried multiplayer. I'm up to level 15 or so. I'm working on unlocking everything for the assault rifle I picked and have no idea what it's called. And I have a RPG for my 2nd weapon for taking out those cobras and harriers.

I average about 4 kills and 87 deaths a game

I have mostly just been playing team deathmatch. my PS3 username is xX_Necros_Xx so if you see me don't kill me

Ok il admit it i use the.... theee.. famas.
But only because im easily annoyed at those who find it funny to take akimbo models and kill you in one. My famas class also tends to stop those drop shoters, kills em in one The famas with thermal also helps me kill campers on almost any map. Yes i am noooob.

If you level them up to akimbo and take the hip shooting perk they're crazy good, and a lot of fun. I'm using the G-18s in akimbo and while I suck at twitch shooting at close quarters, I kill more than I die because you can unload an outrageous number of bullets in a second.

Crap when that happens, same happened on my cod4 disk, campaign was ruined.

Doing a lot better in MW2 now I'm level 21 I think. I got ahold of a TAR21 and that really was a huge improvement for me. And now I have bling also, so I have a site and grenade launcher on it too. I love grenade launchers I love popping one in a window where you see a bunch of folks running around, got 2 kills and saved a teammate once that way and they never even saw it coming

I'm not so sure I'm enjoying multiplayer as much as I could be. It just feels like the first game with more broken stuff. I definitely prefer Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 for multiplayer.

@ Cheese I was playing halo 3 multi recently due to the tragedy and I have to say 1 not many people are playing and 2 its a bit old hat. Also I think they just released the patch that nerfs akimbo 1887 so MW2 should be better with out them. one shotting from ages away.

Just got a new disk no insurance again.. Live dangerously.

This is what I use when I am high enough rank *damn prestiging*

It makes me laugh all the damn time. It makes people squirm but most of all if you can pull some impressive kill cams.

Primary: UMP's w/Akimbo (they are bad but its funny people responding to why the hell I am using this)
Secondary: RPG x 2 (This is the main FUNction of this class)

Special Gernade: Smoke (throw it to lure people in it then fire the rpg in it)
Equipment: Blast Suit (Forgot the damn name of it)

Perk 1: Scavanger Pro (More Rockets!)
Perk 2: Danger Close Pro (ROCKET POWA)
Perk 3: Ninja Pro (so they cant hear you coming or hearbeat sensor you / Element of surprise important)

Death Streak: Final Stand

Kill Streak: As per your game mode

Basically you get fire like a mad man at close and far away targets. GREAT for killing campers medium to long distance away. Use smokes to lure people in or get yourself closer to groups of people.

Main draw back is two things: Suicide *blast shield helps alot* and of course RPG's are lvl 65.

OT: As you can guess my main WH40K army is Ork...shocker right

This has been the most entertaining class I have created for myself. I always get a kick out of it and pulled some impressive long shots. Always a good time.

Kill Streak: UAV / Care Package / Predator (I play nearly strictly S&D for Team Death match or ground war or something Harrier / Stealth Bombers / AC130 or Tactical Nuke when I am in "the zone."

Death Streak: Final Stand or Martydom depends on my day...some good some bad

I got the game today, and I love it. But I've been getting some problems, my kill/death ratio is terrible and I die alot. I get killed mostly, when Im running from place to place, or when I turn round a corner, and they are quickier then me. Any help anyone:s

Loss: Its just a case of getting used to it mate.
Once your used to the maps and common areas on them you will be fine.
my 1st game i was 10 kills 16 deaths lol.
On average now im around 25-30 kills for 5-6 deaths.

Managed to push my K/D ration up to nearly 4 now, and its simply by using a pistol.


I stick to domination games, so i simply run about with a USP with tactical knife and FMJ's.
3 round kills, or i can stab them alot faster than they can even pull thier knife out

I wont be on tonight, but ill go on there for a bit tomorrow.

I have fell in love with the SCAR, I got a heat sensor thingy for it, now Im getting bling, so I can have SCAR scope, and heat sensor.

To be honest mate, the scar is a great gun.
But like all guns for me, i dont bother with a scope lol.
I generally stick to the grenade launcher (people in domination camp alot) and a silencer.

If i had the choice, i wouldnt bother with a scope on snipers either lol.


But yea, generally the harder it is to get an upgrade on a gun, the better the upgrade is.
The tactical knife is next to last for the USP, so it takes a few games to get.
Once you got it though its worth its weight in gold

Whats the tactical knife?

Its available to standard pistols only.
You simply have a knife held with your other hand under the gun.
When you melee, rather than the usual slow stab, you stab them alot quicker, and lunge forward more.

In effect, i'd say its about 3 times faster than a normal knife lol, which is why i use it soo much

Nothing is more fun than outrunning the claymore, running faster than they can aim, and stabbin 4 or 5 people at once. I usually go about 10-12 and 10 with this one, but it's just too fun to care.

Replace the knife with a semtex...with your shield up you find someone throw a stun then semtex they will just slow mo run away to there death...and they will hate you for it.

With your shield up, I'll just stick a Semtex to it.

Personally, i don't run shield classes, but he specifically asked for a shield class.

Usually running around, throwing knives, shooting with the sniper if they're far away

usually get 20+ kills, and never more than 10 deaths, i find it better to be fast and precise, than powerful and spraying bullets everywhere

But I only use it in hardcore, where the real men of gaming play...can't stand normal TDM...
