Not decided on Colour scheme but i have painted 3 mocks and still not happy, the Gold Braid keeps coming up dirty. I have primed the bulk of them and now got distracted with a Boarding Torpedo, A Deathwatch Kill team and my wife before, I myself deploy. A D D is a pain in the arse when you are into this, so much to paint and do, so little time.

Okay just as a idea go onto the forge world website and look at the elysian drop troopers their heads at least would work perfect and they have respirators and such and they are not like every other guard army they have some flavor just a idea. Good luck

UPDATE okay despite being distracted over the last few months I am returning to this project...


These guys from PIG IRON will make good stock NAVAL ARMSMEN and a reasonably cheap at 10 for £8, I am going to buy an Elysium Drop troopers weapon set for the special weapons. I think 2 platoons of these guys, one section with Shotguns for the assault and then some other bits will make them competitive especially if i go for valkyries...
