Wonder why it is not a generic Imperial peice?
Skulls and dark angels are key Imperial decorative motifs.

Human skulls, sure, but huge skulls? And these angels are a bit too "Dark Angel Chapter" specific, rather than "dark angels which will protect your soul" or some sort of similar imperial iconography.

So what sort of board are you supposed to play on with something like that on it?
Can a Stompa tear the wall down?
How do you use that in a game?
|
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

It is a nice model, to be sure.
I'd love to see some Bastions stuck on top of it to make a ridiculous mega-fortress conversion or what not.

Some people play to win, some people play for fun. Me? I play to kill toy soldiers.

I have one of these being held for me till I get home in Dec. I am in Spain right now and have two bastions to go with this kit. Might pick up a few more and start making a huge fortress just for Apoc don't know yet. I can't wait to put it together and paint it for my DA army.

So Baneblades are cheaper now?
FoR = 78€
Baneblade = 95€
Again a "made in china" box. Seems every GW big plastic kit is outsourced to asia.

GW opened a factory and a Casting location Shanghai to help gather outsourced stuff and start cranking out large kits and FW stuff.
Not really news...it was in the financial info released in the summer.
