I just registered on the Conclave forum yesterday (an Inquisitor resource forum), and they actually had a pretty good way of keeping the riff-raff out! Here is a screen shot of the kind of questions that they used during registration.... it didn't have anything that a new player would not be able to figure out, but at the same time it probably made most computerized form-fillers instantly fail.

Some websites email you a password to an email account when you register, you then use that password to access their website and change it to something memorable if you wanted to. Could this be a good alternative?

Would put off lightweight spammers who wouldn't want to spend all that time regisitering then getting an email to then spam.

Heads up Mods..

Just reported a spam botter that was copy pasting past posts and spamming replies.

Ive got a funny feeling I know who is behind this, though only lego could prove it.
