Study more.
Spend less in Gw.
Save up for lappy.

Not much here.

Family related.
Spend more time with my children (I work way to much)
Same for my Girlfriend.

Health related.
Stop eating so much fast food (again, work related) I'm getting older, and all those runs to Mcdonalds are going to start showing soon.

Games/GW related.
Add a few bitz and such to my Orkz (converted Warboss, and a few other conversions).
Add Forgeworld conversions(on order) to my Death Guard (bringing troops up to 10 sqauds...ridiculous)
Start to phase out GW purchases, barring the release of somthing truely spectacular,I'm limiting my purchases to a max of two a year or a $200 dollar limit, which ever comes first and then only from E-bay or similar outlet.(perspectivly I dropped over $1000 this year, and while I can afford it,I no longer feel the desire to support GW)

Loose some weight, need to drop about 6 stone (84lbs) in total - I'll be happy if I can loose half of it this year.

Paint more stuff - I would like to at least get 1000-1500pts of Dark Elves and 1500-2000pts of Orks done this year if possible.

Write - Get my second novel finished, and the first one I'll be willing to try and get published.

Fancomic - try and work with my wife to get a comic strip off the ground, need a way to promote her art.

Cear some debt - Still got about three years to be clear, to stay on target need to clear a credit card and a catalogue this year for about two grand.

"That's not an Ork, its a girl.." - Last words of High General Daran Ul'tharem, battle of Ursha VII.

I suppose it would have been better to phrase it this way:
Start dating, and stop sleeping with random girls.

As long as you're not getting all diseased or getting young ladies pregnant I see no reason to change that behavior at your age. No need to get serious before you're done with college. If you're being a jerk about it, then resolve not to be a jerk. Otherwise, have fun . . . and don't think that the necessary outcome is cynicism. (I use that one because there is no orkmoticon for a bemused pffft.)

After the tenth year of saying "quit smoking" I gave up on yearly resolutions. Now I have weekly ones. The answer to your question is "no," btw.

Oh, I was cynical well before I was sexually active, and fun is the motivation for the resolution.

Also, aren't you like two years older than me?

You guys should set tangible goals. If you say study harder, that's fine, but it's very vague. If you set a target grade it's easier to keep the resolution.

Anyways:
1. Increase my blackout limit from 13 to 18 drinks.

2. Shoot for a 4.0 this semester. One class dragged me to a 3.6 this semester because I missed lectures.

3. Don't start any new armies for any systems.

4. Attend every home football game this fall.

I cant think of anything major.. im very happy with my lot in life.

Maybe get back up to 25 chin ups.. although, i had no booze for 6 months due to being in Iraq when i got that high so it may well be unreachable..

Oh there is one, try to drink a bit less, although, i only binge drink 3 or 4 times a month so.. im probably not actually that bad with that either.

Ok i cant think of one. Good luck the rest of you.

You're gonna fail this one a lot. That's a 3 minute mile. World class marathon runners can't maintain that pace over 26 miles, let alone 100. In fact, I'm pretty sure no one's ever run a sub-3 minute mile in anything.

I don't really do resolutions, but I do have some aims/goals for the year:

1) Get my novel published. Finally finished it, this month, after the best part of a decade. I've sent it off to a couple of agents, but am fully expecting to have to re-work it and/or send it off to at least 50 more agents before one of them will take it on.

2) Get to blue belt (2nd Kyu) in judo. I could potentially get to brown belt (1st kyu) this year, but there's a stack of stuff to learn, so I'm trying to be realistic & aim for blue.

3) Get resting heart rate below 50 by the end of Feb, through some long slow distance training.

4) Get deadlift to 2.5 x bodyweight.

5) Paint my stuff. Specifically, I want a small but viable tyranid army (all I have right now is a bunch of unpainted Stealers from Space Hulk sets) painted to a good standard by the end of Feb... and I want to finish painting my entire DA army by the end of the year.

6) Start & finish Secret Money-Making Plan X (it's viable, it's just going to be quite a bit of work).
