I smell love in the air.

Oh wait, that's bs I smell.

--The whole concept of government granted and government regulated 'permits' and the accompanying government mandate for government approved firearms 'training' prior to being blessed by government with the privilege to carry arms in a government approved and regulated manner, flies directly in the face of the fundamental right to keep and bear arms.

Sigh. This forum is being dragged down.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Into the depths of Mordor.

Seriously though. Tzeentch is the god of change and has an IQ apparently higher than anything, god or man, in the Universe.

Obama THINKS he is God and will bring change to the country and has an IQ so low it is incomprehensible.

Oh wait, he has brought change to the US. Lots of Dems are changing sides or resigning and in 2010 and in 2012 we'll see a change from a Liberal run nation to a Conservative nation.

So he did keep ONE of his promises.

I'm almost ashamed to have gone to school in Minnesota.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.

I AM ashamed you went to school here.

Doesn't surprise me though as this state is so liberal it makes you look Conservative.

I'm not even particularly liberal. I simply take offense to arguments founded on incorrect inferences, or facts.

I almost never express my own political leanings, I merely argue against points which are poorly thought out.

So does that mean you argue with yourself a lot?

LOL.

No, not generally. I don't usually make invalid statements. It does happen, but it isn't frequent by any means.

Everybody should examine and challenge their own ideas, whenever an elements of your argument lacks foundation or, as Dogma noted, it is invalid. Otherwise you end up with superficial views like 'this broad political faction is bad while this other broad political faction is good'.
