I have, in fact, sent of multiple Email and Letters, none of which have been replied to.

I am just annoyed that someone would go "Gwar!'s opinion doesn't mean anything because he doesn't write the FAQs".

You don't write official FAQs. Period.

You wrote an unofficial one, which may or may not have been referenced when GW wrote theirs.

Get over yourself.

You opinion only matters as much as anyone else's.

What happened with them stealing your rulings may suck, but at the end of the day you do not work for GW and are not in charge of their official FAQs.

But that is not what you said.

This, I am no longer "a guy with an opinion like the rest of us" but rather something else (I assume "a guy with an opinion that matters more").

I don't see your name credited on it. Even if you get your credit on it, it still does not make your opinion any more worthy than anyone elses. Until you are working for GW writing their rules or FAQs, your opinion has the same value of anyone else's.

Gwar came up with alot of stuff, most of which is also included in the FAQ. Just because two different parties can have the same relevant good idea's does not mean that one stole/took from the other. There is no way to prove that they looked/did not look at your unofficial FAQ when forming theirs. Thus it is moot.

As to the OP.. I now understand why they get to use the Tervigons LD10 whilst synapse makes them fearless; Obviously for CC. I think they will also rule that the gaunts get the furious charge benefit in conjunction to the counter-charge (or is it counter-assault?) USR. I hope that they also rule that the improved strength of the gaunt, thanks to the previously mentioned furious charge buff, is including when working out their strength versus their preys toughness in regards to Poisoned attacks.

Whether or not GW lifted stuff from your FAQ to help formulate their own is irrelevent: GW tells us what the rules are, and we follow them. You ultimately have no authority over that.

Anyways, following precedent set by the new SW FAQ, Counter Attack and Furious Charge do not stack, so that's settled.

You know GWAR, they added a little note on the FAQ dated yesterday, acknowledging that they pulled the FAQs from the public and "representatives of the online gaming community." Its like they're kinda sorta acknowledging you, except they're not.

Christ, I dont really give a good frack who wrote the SW FAQ, I've been confused on how CA/FC work since the IG codex came out. You know, that codex MANY months ago when it was obvious they intended them to work together? And you can argue RAW/RAI all you want. Anyone who has been in the gaming community in a variety of games for any length of time... well it's really bloody obvious that GW considers 40k to be a "beer and pretzels" game. The rulset aint exactly tight.

I dont have a problem with that, generally. I just want to know how the gak works without having to dig through 15 pages of DakkaDakka drama.

And Gwar... honestly... a month ago, I"d say you had made a career out of trying to cut through the drama. I'd have given you a great deal of nerd-capital for it. I'd have likedly applauded you for it. But your behavior since the SW FAQ came out has been... bad. You've burned through ALL of your nerd-capital, far as I'm concerned. Frankly, I was to the point where I would just wish you would shut up. You can be "right" all you like... but still be expressing your "right" opinion to the point where everyone loses respect for you.
