I read in the SW Codex that an entire company landed on some planet and they were treated like royalty, and when the Captain "made a pass" at one of their women, they realized the people wern't human. So I think they can, but normally choose not to.

I think marine recruits should always get laid before they turn into space marines.

Sure even Ragnar gets laid the night before he is gets chosen to join the SW..

I think they should too though, just to give them a taste of what they can never have again!!

Well, you gotta think - why did the emperor grow his kids, not breed them. My thoughts:
1) not compatible with normal humans anymore (too advanced). This would mean his primachs would carry the same incompatiblity as they are from the same DNA. Alternatively
2) control - he didnt want to run the risk of having kids who could reproduce, gain support and numbers and one day overthrow him. think about how the Horus Heresy would have been with Horus planting his seed on every planet he came across building a nice little army.

So I reckon the Emp decided to make them sterile when he grew them - keeps him in control.

He just gave them 10000 super soldiers instead
