My reasoning is throughout the song they are basically talking about death, destruction and "the end of the world". I thought that it was a very "everything is dying, we're all gunna die, everything's buring" so I kinda connected it with the arival of the Tyranids and their consumption of the planet. The flames, symbolizing the Tyranids.
