They'll be close pretty soon anyway, with all the wings and Deep Striking.

Orks(I assume that's what you're playing) don't have a whole lot to fear from most Nids in CC.

I play Vanilla Space Marines too tho... and necrons. but like SM the most because of their versatility.

I think people have hit it on the head, Assault Terminators are super valuable against 'Nids in almost every way.

If you know your opponent is going to be deep striking some MC's you should just hang some termis in the back. If possible, a Vanilla LR might be a great investment. double lascannons can pick whatever off, and if he deep strikes a Trygon/Mawloc etc., you can just drop the untouched Terminators out and just destroy him. Also, using the Land Raider you can pretty much have a 20 inch defence zone for your backline troops.

I was in the same situation as you, frustrated with stupid TMC's and I realised, Terminators are the problem solver I was looking for.
