The home of the Alamo, TX

James Cameron helped out in that film since it was made by his ex-wife whom they share their projects with from time to time; in an Obi-Wan kind of perspective they both win He seems like a good guy, he hopes she gets acclaim to help her career, goes to Iraq to boost morale (his bro was a Marine as well; and no the guys in Avatar are not real military - fething mercs ), etc.

Likewise she helped out with Avatar. Hollywood sure is a small world.

Actually, both films showed mercs in it for the money and getting wasted.

That's not relevant to anything much, but I thought it was a fun factoid.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

Adam Smith, who must have been some kind of leftie or something.
