Deff Dred Magnetizing Project Complete!

So today I started working on my AT-ST Killa Kanz, My Orks have to show their cinema pride by stealing a few of those bad boyz! Pictures will soon follow!

Here is the First Stage of the First Kan

Have a whole new Hobby/Painting Desk and will soon upload pictures of the new work....Just been busy with school and getting ready for Ard Boyz Round 2

Here is my latest work, Went back and worked on my first trukk and added a whole new color scheme to brighten it up to match my Waaaaagh.


I went over the entire thing with a coat of Scab Red, then Red Gore, then did a smaller amount in Blood Red and Highlighted in Blazing Orange. For the metal parts, I went over the boltgun with alternating shades of Chainmail and Mitheral. I then made it look a little more rustic with some touches of Tin Bitz and a small over coat of Devlan Mud Wash in certain areas.



Tell me what you think, This is my first fully finished Vehicle (Minus the Drivers) and am now working on painting a Battlewagon, of which I will upload photos of tomorrow and keep you all updated with its progress!

Trukk looks a lot better than the last time I saw it mang. Get that crew in there!

I have finished a good bit of the squad, on 2 guys left to finish then will have another 10 man done!

Trust me I am working on what I can when I have time and the poor Orks have been being very patient for their kind lolz, I did just get my Gaspy put together so maybe soon I will just break down and those some work onto him, he is on my work shelf so it is a matter of time!

So Everyone here is an update on my work and my current project as of right now, not a whole lot has been done in the large spectrum but am pretty proud I have gotten it this far! I should be working on the Tread Gears tmrw night and will post pictures as soon as I make some more progress, Thank for checking it out!

Solid start, if you do the reds and yellows like the trukk it'll look great. I wonder why you didn't do some of the metal of the under carriage and stuff first though? Seems like that'll be messy and could get on your other colors if you wait too long. We gotta play a game when you get back with all painted armies and document it for the masses...it'll be pretty. Haha

Hell yeah, maybe not fully painted by christmas, but summer oh hell yeah! I am gonna try something different with the under carriage!

Ok Peep, Here is another update!

I went and finished a few Ork boyz and even did their bases, so that I could put them in their foam box and store them till play time!

I will say in advance that I am not super happy with the lighting in the pictures as it really seems to fade them out and make the scorpion green highlights seem non-existent. Either way I would love to hear some C&C and wanted to make sure I try to keep moving forward with painting my army!

I can see it, but I know what you mean. Try doing some pictures with flash to pop the highlights. It can wash out some colors, but if you want to just show highlights its the best way.

Ill be sure to turn flash on with the next batch of pictures!

Progress Report on my latest Ork, Here ya go Pa-Chow! I got the clothes done and the leather and started on the mouth, I just need to some a few more highlights and finish the braid on his head!

I completed the 9th Ork of my most recent 10 man squad and that only leaves me one more to finish before I turn my attention to the Mega Nobz I have been picking at.

Lovin your Orks! And uuuh, all this WIP stuff really gets me in the mood of starting a few projects myself....

Thanks and trust me all the WIP I have to do makes my brain scramble on what all to actually work on at any given time!

Sorry for the lapse in time between my posts, but its coming due for all my major projects for college so I am have been stuck in the library and doing way to much schoolwork which does not allow for a gak ton of time for my boyz, but starting the 18th I am on break for 10 days and hope to get a few things worked on so that I can show you some progress on the army!

Its currently on the list but it is farther down!

Will finish my Ork Squad tmrw finally! I then plan to move on to my squad of Lootas and will put up pictures soon, 21 credit hours have been beating me to a pulp this semester!

I was not able to finish my last ork boy due to a migraine which did not allow me to focus on the detailing I am up too.

So instead I got some Loota's done and started doing their first layer of green.

Any progress forward is a plus!

The deed has finally been done! I have finished my 2nd 10 man squad of Ork Boyz.

For some reason this has taken so long with school and everything else I do (Track,Clubs,HvZ, Girls) but today I decided I needed to finish the last one and here he is in all his finished glory.

I have been trying some new techniques I have been learning and wanted to make sure I had all the right stuff to do the job right since I have put so much money into the hobby why not have them look up to the best of my ability.

So now on to finish my Meganob and Loota Squads next!

Also I have decided I will never ever do that head again on an Ork boy as it is a major pain in the butt to paint and get it to look good! I hate the mouth on it soooooo much!
