Blog Entry Number Seven:
Bigger is better...?
“You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try.”- Beverly Sills quotes
Sorry for the slow update, but had a hard week of work...not that I'm complaining. The more I work, the more I make, the more I can spend!
Captain Klunk: I'm still having real difficulty taking photos of my minis. I would appreciate any advice you (or any other reader!) can offer to make them look....better. Thanks in advance!
Boss 'eadbreaka: Your C& Cs are always welcome here! Yea, I was thinking the same thing when I took the photos. So when I get round to taking photos of mine Inquisitor, You'll be happy to note the addition of a proud aquilla! Thanks for the comment of the ST's. I think I might bulk them a little bit more, with a few pouches and gubbins.
Tim the Biovore: As above - hopefully you won't be disappointed at the next update!
Now as the above blog entry title name might suggest, I too have been bitten by the "truescale" beast. Though I prefer the term artscale...I mean who is to say what the truescale of a Space Marine is. And please, lets not let this descend into a flame war on that subject...
Now, I'll be the first to admit that this first one is a tad..ok a lot too big for a rank and file marine, however this was my first attempt and is more a chance for me to get my eye in, so to speak. But rather than waste him and for the sentimental pleasure of my first scaled up brute making it to the table top, I'll be using it as my count-as Logan Grimnar for my Steel Raptors Chapter (fluff being finished in the DIY chapter section over in the B&C, as my entry into the Iron Gauntlet Challenge)
So, onto the model...
It is very early stages yet, but I wanted to experiment with a different take on the way people scale up their marines. I've only touched on the GSing which will be needed as until this morning I was without greenstuff and just had very grainy milliput.
The Steel Raptors have a real thing for bionics, so I'm considering keeping this leg un-armoured, and bulking it out with plenty of gubbins and wires to look mechanised.
Size comparison against one of my deamonhunting storm troopers
Against a marine and the storm trooper...he is really very large
And a few close ups...
Thank you for reading - now please help me and comment, your feedback is craved!

This has to be the coolest inquisition army ever.
In all honesty really. I LOVE Armageddon Steel Legionaries. And your "elitefying" of them is superb.
Also I find your count as Sisters of Battle units to be cool, I can see some Chaos marine bits, but what exactly did you use to make them? I think the base is a older model...
Last thing I'm afraid I can't really make out much of your inquisitor but I think that's just my poor eye sight.
9.5 out of 10.

Blog Entry Number Seven:
And even biggerer is better than bigger...
“Opportunities always look bigger going than coming”
Again...Sorry for the slow update, but you know, work...
Shadowbrand: Thank you for your comments...your going to make me blush . Hopefully I won't let you down with this next update, or any future ones! The counts as SoBs are based on Mordehim bodies I found kicking around, Bretonian archer heads ( I think), some marine bits and a bunch of plasticard. They (and the rest of the squad) are next on my list to get some work done.
I'm glad you appreciate the Steelies getting beefed up. I think they might be my favourite bit of work to date.
So, onto the update. Decided the old addage in for a penny, in for a pound would serve well in this project, so went to town and made the artscale marine...into an artscale terminator!
Size comparison with the Inquisitor who (thanks to everyones advice) has had some work done to his chest
Your C&C very much appreciated

Great work so far! For the photography, you chose my best subject, tips:
Try holding the camera in different positions and choose the position that looks best,
NEVER and I repeat NEVER use a phone camera, they suck in all ways,
Try getting your camera into a good setting for the type of photos your doing,
Have a well lit and white photography space,
just my 4 cents, pm me if any problems,
Cheers!

"Straight Fething Silver" Tanith first and only
I have a reputation, Modile, a reputation as a fair, honest man who treats his soldiers well and supports them in the face of darkness. Potentially, that reputation makes me soft. It seems I understand failure and forgive it. Some, like Kowle, believe me to be a weak commissar, not prepared to take the action my rank demands. Not prepared to enforce field discipline where I see it failing. I am an Imperial commissar. I will enflame the weak, support the wavering, guide the lost. I will be all things to all men who need me. But I will also punish without hesitation the weak, the incompetent, and the treasonous.
I am a Commissar. I am empowered to deliver justice wherever I see it lacking. I am empowered to punish cowardice. I am granted the gift of total authority to judge, in the name of the Emperor, on the field of combat.
— Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt, prior to the field execution of his uncle General Aldo Dercius |

I love most of what I've seen here,I particular like the Stormtrooper conversions & your Inquisitor looks very cool.
The termie is a bit rough, but perhaps a little bit of GS will smooth that out,I'd concentrate primarly on the abdoman and left leg as those seem to be the roughest areas.
Also, wondering if the conection of GS between the termie and shoulder mounted "weapon" is supposed to be cable?...if so,might I suggest replacing it with guitar strings,as would give it a "cleaner" look.
Again, some very cool conversions here,I'm really enjoying keeping up with this thread, keep up the good work.
