Flamers are worth their points in platina.. thrust me.. when pesky eldar, tau or guard bicker behind cover, it's always a lovely moment to see them getting flushed out by flamers.. and Dreads can have HEAVY flamers on their close combat arms, so that would scare guard troopers even MORE!
I do have a bit of a bad feeling that your lascannon-dread will be one of the first to go.. but then again, 3 Multi-Melta Dreads are more of a treath.. To me, it seems that the lascannon-dread is more of a "place filler" in your list then a thought-through addition.
Oh, another great source for autocannons; The quad autocannon emplacement from the Aegis Defence Line.. those come in pairs, so no need to buy a bucketload of boxed sets consisting 3 IG heavy weapons teams..

Can do that, but will lose an infantry squad then. For 75 points I get a scout squad, these points could be spent on 4 flamers and leave 35 points which could the go into the master of the forge. Right now, I don't consider using flamers, although I see the danger from tyranids and orks (maybe even IG).

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Update on my plans:
you have validly pointed out the flamer issue. New army plan now is
1x MotF with Conversion Beamer
3x 2x Autocannondread
3x CC dread with flamer
2x 5man scout squad (one is armed with sniper rifles)
A few points left. What do you think?
