I remember in the second episode of Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, the guy in the video/comic shop says something along the lines of:
"Hey (insert name), put down the Warhammer and listen to this..."

In a Canadian (I think) show called Till Debt Do Us Part, one episode had a guy with a good sized collection, mostly Lizardmen. The host derided him quite mercilessly for spending so much on little toys. Go figure.
